Tied-up by television cords
Sinking into the quicksand sofas
Trapped inside the idiot box
Wrapped-up in newspaper
like fish and chips
being consumed by media

Where Marxists don't exist
Where intelligence is sabatoge
Where ideas are an endangered species

We microwave our brains
and store them in the deep-freeze
next to our red meat and TV dinners
